How to roast garlic perfectly every time ...

DO IT!

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.

  2. Place peeled garlic cloves in an oven safe dish.

  3. Pour oil over garlic clove until covered.

  4. Roast for 45 - 50 minutes.

  5. Remove garlic cloves from oil and smash into a paste while it is still warm or allow them to cool and use them whole. Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 week. (I use a mason jar.)

And there you go! Roasted Garlic Puree

Tip: Allow the oil to cool and store it in a container with a tight lid (I use a mason jar for this too). Use the garlic infused oil to saute things or to make homemade vinaigrette and what not and such which.

Don’t forget to save the oil!

Use leftovers: as needed.
