MOMMY’S MEATLOAF
This is one of my favorite things my mom makes from time to time…
Yield: 8 servings
PREP IT!
1 pound Beef, ground
1 pound Turkey, ground
¼ cup Catalina salad dressing
1 each Egg, large
1/3 cup Breadcrumbs, Italian style
1 cup Onion, yellow, diced
1 pouch Onion soup mix, dried, found in soup aisle
2 tablespoons Taste Tutor Seasoning 101
½ cup BBQ Sauce
MAKE IT!
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix all ingredients, except BBQ sauce, together until well incorporated and shape into a loaf.
Place loaf in an 8” x 4” loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches to 165°F. Spread BBQ sauce over the top of the loaf and place back in oven for an additional 10 minutes.
Slice, serve, and enjoy!
Tip: This recipe freezes well so try making it ahead of time. If making ahead of time and freezing, leave BBQ sauce off of the loaf until ready to reheat and serve.
Reheat leftovers: in the oven or in the microwave.
